First Talk

Today you gave your first talk in Primary! Your dad and I were so proud of you. You got up by yourself and talked about how your body is a Temple of God. You don't drink alcohol, you don't smoke cigarettes. You eat fruits and vegetables, exercise. Go to bed early and rise early. You did it all yourself! Everyone was so impressed! You are such a good example to me! I love you!

4th Birthday

We thought that since you were turning 4 that we would have a Birthday Party for you. We invited everyone in your primary class! It was a good turn out.

First we played the Candy Bar Game!

Then we divided up the group and some made a craft and some watched your daddy make balloon animals!

Craft Time!

Attack of the Balloon animals!

Everyone got to take a picture with the birthday girl!

Time to blow out your candle!

Presents!

Mommy and McKaylee

I helped to make your official birthday cake!

So My Sweet McKaylee you are officially 4 years old. I can't believe how fast time flies. You are so independant! You love to figure out how things work on your own. You get pretty upset whenever someone tries to help you. You love to read and you love to dance and sing to music. You love to color and learn. We are very impressed with your memory. You can recall things that even your dad and I have forgotten. You can do so many things by yourself. You are just growing up so fast. You are the best big sister, you have a tender heart but most importantly you are loved and you are loving! You are the best! Happy Birthday McKaylee!

Hangin Out

Sacrament Meeting

We taught you about the sacrament and why we go to church each Sunday. You decided to reenact it with your frog. Tad the Frog borrowed your sunday dress.
You lined up the cups and put water in each one. Just like it is at church.

Easter 2011

Your dad and I decided that we wanted to save Easter Sunday for the true meaning of the Holiday so we had the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.
You found lots of eggs!

You got a stuffed bunny which you named Cozy!

We taught you about the true meaning of Easter. On Sunday in class your teacher asked what Easter was about, you answered, " Easter is about Jesus getting a new body. Jesus died and was resurrected." Your teacher was very impressed. Your dad and I were proud of you too!

Messy Messy

It takes you about 2 minutes to make this mess...... and about 2 hours to clean up!

Dancing Queen

Your daddy put on some good tunes and told you girls to dance. Of course you couldn't dance until you were all dressed up!

Just Because

Hair

McKaylee your hair is so thin that it is hard to do sometimes, but when I find a hairstyle that works like this one I just had to take a picture of your cute face.
When I was about your age side ponytails were pretty popular. Like a lot of things it went out of style but it's not back in style about 20 years later. Isn't that crazy?

Elder WHO?

The Elders came over for dinner and they were done giving the spiritual message. Your daddy asked, " Who do you want to say the prayer, Elder Cervo or Elder Felix?" I guess you wanted them both to say it because you answered, " Elder Cervix."

Cindy Lu Do

Dad had a great time shampooing your hair! You remind me of Cindy Lu Who!

Fairy

So when I was growing up there were little sneaky elves that would eat all the chocolate chips or leave messes or even better clean the house. Now that I am all grown up there is a little sneaky fairy that helps clean out the dishwasher. If you see her be sure to tell her thanks!

BCB

BCB stands for Butt Crack Bandit. McKaylee I swear no matter what we put you in you were always sporting Butt Crack. We just adopted the name and whenever we say it you know that you need to pull up your pants. You are so skinny that jeans just don't fit right. Someday hopefully the problem will right itself.
